About Mrs. Christianson

Hello!  My name is Tonya Christianson and I will be your Kindergarten teacher!  I grew up on a farm near Milan, Minnesota. 

I graduated from South Dakota State University in December 2009, with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Since graduation, I substitute taught in Brookings and Deubrook Area School.  I have been teaching in Brookings since 2010.

I live on a farm near Astoria with my husband, Jesse, our sons, Dakota and Skye.  We have 2 dogs, Jade and Rudy.  I love living on a farm, working in the garden, canning, and fishing!  We enjoy watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings!
